Reframing “Change”

In my work with client organizations, I now know that an organization’s perception of “change” needs to shift.  Rather than viewing change as an “event”, it needs to be viewed as a mind-set or way of doing business.  Failure to do so will result in organizations being in an ongoing reactive rather than proactive mode.  This shift can only come with education and a consistent message from leadership AND there are tools/strategies that can help!  A good change management strategy like the one developed by Prosci International that is partnered with Fierce Conversations will lead to the successful shift in thinking about change: It IS a mind-set rather than an event.
